How to register Sonic Foundry and Sony versions of SoundForge??

So, new to the forum, which I just stumbled onto by accident...

Would somebody tell me how to go about registering all of my old Sony and Sonic Foundry software that is no longer supported on Sony's website?  In particular, I still use SoundForge 6.0 and the mp3 plug-in has recently said it needs to be re-registered (after having cloned a new hard drive - the only thing that doesn't take care of itself after a clone, evidently).

Not that it really matters, but just to follow the forum advice - my full SoundForge version is 6.0e, it's installed and registered on a Windows 7 SP1 laptop and has been migrated through two Windows 7 clonings and originally from a Win XP os, all on this same PC over the course of the past 7 years, or so.  The last time I had to re-register the mp3 plug-in was when going from XP to 7, but then it was a matter of writing to Sony to get the authorization code.

And how do I find this Magix main website and can I register my Sony/Sonic Foundry software there, as I had for years on the Sony website?  I wasn't even aware that Sony had sold any of their product line...

Thanks in advance for any help.  In the meantime, I keep searching for answers.

You're right - it's a start.  It doesn't help me solve the problem, but then again, I haven't seen that anybody else has gotten a solution either.  It seems that maybe the buyout was partially intended to bury the old versions once and for all..... too bad, because they are so useful no matter how old they are.
