how to record more sounds from external keyboard (MS 2015)

Well finally I have found out I cannot record the actual sounds of my external keyboard in Music Maker Premium 2017. So I then tried my Music Studio 2015. On the left under MIDI I see there are some dropdown box options, including a list of instruments (under programm dropdown box) which appear to be on my External keyboard (although they sound slightly different). So I can record here / these okay.

But, there is a catch!

So I can select a (1) keyboard tone – but if I split the keys (= 2/3 sounds while playing keyboard) – I only get the one tone recorded in MS 2015!

(it is a USB connection to computer - and records 1x tone at a time okay - but more at once?)

Is there a solution I don’t know about?

Assuming you mean the audio from your keyboard - then you must connect the keyboard audio out to either an USB audio to digital converter, plugged in to your PC, or audio in on your PC sound card.

In either case you select the appropriate recording input in MS.

MIDI is used so the keyboard can control the instruments/synthesizers in MS.
