Hi,

First you should try updating Quicktime to the latest version.  If that does not work, you may want to think about downloading one of the free video converter products such as "Any Video Converter" and convert the .mov file to something else like .mp4.

Good Luck

Hi

If George's answer does not solve the problem - download GSpot and analyse one of the MOV files to find out which codec is inside the file.

GSpot will also tell you if you have the codec installed if you use the 1,2,3 buttons under MS/AV in the bottom left corner once a clip is loaded and analysed.

Without this information or knowing the source of the MOV we would be guessing.  My guess would be, as  QT and the mpg and mp4 codecs are activated, that the video codec is DiVX or XViD -  GSpot will tell you this.

If the codec is DiVX or XViD then you will need to install the apropriate codecs.
