How to lower bass EQ?

Hello!

So...my music pieces, some in particular, just seem to have WAY too much bass to them AFTER exporting the whole audio to MP3 or OGG. I've done Normalizing and not Normalizing, which doesn't seem to do much at all.

The bass, or boom of the song, just overpowers some of the notes being played in the background, too. I just don't know what to do, and I don't really want to lower the volume of the layer of bass, but if that's what's going to fix it, then I shall. But, like, is there any way I can fix this?

On an unrelated note to this question, is there an EQ selection, and is there a particular setting YOU like to give the song a more orchestral EQ theme?

I made an account specificially to ask this question, as I'm working on music for my game and just for plain fun, and well, I'm having issues at the moment. Thanks for any answers!

Hi

I would suggest you read the istalled PDF manual available under Help.

There are several ways to reduce the levels and equalisation using effects:

  • by individual object

  • by track in the Mixer (M key)

  • by the Master effects control in the mixer - this has a global effect
