How to lock an object in position

chris9 wrote on 5/21/2014, 5:57 AM

I have several tracks in MusicMaker2014, and as I edit one it is very easy to move and object left or right by mistake, or accidentally move another track.

How can I lock an object in position?    (in Movie Edit forum I've seen reference to click on the padlock icon to do this, but I can't see a similar icon in Music Maker).

Hi Chris,

I can't see anything in the manual that says you can lock a track, unfortunately. However, the manual (see page 53) does say to group objects together to avoid objects being unintentionally moved in relation to each other. I do this in Movie Edit Pro even though tracks can be locked.

Locking tracks can be done in Samplitude Music Studio and, I presume, in the regular Music Studio.
