I am recording from a Sirius satellite player which records a digital signal. It is connected to the PC through a “dual” microphone / headphone jack and the recording setting in Magix product are using the Real stereo driver- all the settings look similar to what might have been used with the windows 7 pro that worked earlier. On both win7 and win2” I have changed checking/unchecking the listen feature on the windows setting with the only effect being if checked, I might hear my cough, etc. during recording. I have reduced the volume on Magix settings so input says it is in nominal range- no problem here I believe. With the win7 setup, one can hear the music through the computer speakers while recording or during playback of recording during cleaning, etc.; I do no have any such sound on the Win10 computer.
