How to install multiple editors, transfer software, import .mov files

1. Can I install Magix Movie Edit Pro 17 on a computer that has Sony Vegas 10?
2. If I have Magix 17 on a PC, is it ok to install it on a second one to verify it works there, then go back to uninstall off old PC?
3. Is Quicktime tied to the PC where it was installed, or can I deal with it as in question #2 above?
(I figured out how to import .mov files, so no help needed with that.)

Hi

1.     Yes, they will not interfere with each other unless you try running both at once then you may get issues.

2.     That depends on how many times you have activated the software. Licensing is for one computer only .  IIRC MEP17 can be activated 3 times before you have to contact Magix for the activation counter to be reset.

Also if you are going to install on Windows 8 or 8.1 you may have issues eg DVD drive not recognised - in which case you need a Windows 8 compatible version of MEP

3       Yes - install the latest version.

4       Quicktime is not registered / licensed - you can install on as many computers as you wish.
