Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

That 75 minute limit is one imposed by the Red Book standard for CD writing, based on the storage capacity of a standard CD. Larger CDs are available - same physical size but larger storage capacity, perhaps the most common is one which will store up to 80 minutes.

But, if you are wanting to burn mp3s to a CD all the above is purely theoretical! Those "time limits" are based upon each "track" being 16 bit, 44.1kHz, wav audio files, each of which is considerably larger than any mp3.

So, I think you need to tell us in rather more detail exactly what you are trying to do! Also, information about your computer would be useful; see this post for what we need.

Hi Jeff

Thank you for your help and warm welcome

I have a brand new Omen Laptop with a i7 7700HQ @2.80GHz processor with 16GB RAM running on Window 10

I've got a blank CD that stores up to 80 minutes with 700MB and I'm wanting to burn 80 minutes worth of mp3 music onto an audio track. I don't have this problem with other media players I have on this computer so I'm sure it can't be the computer.

Thank you for your help in advance

Chris

So, to check, the "limit" of 75 minutes is imposed by MP3 Deluxe 19?

If so, this seems to imply that the app is hard-coded to not use or recognise "larger-capacity" CDs. In which case I can only suggest using other burning software to burn your chosen mp3s to CD.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for responding.

Ahh so it must be a MAGIX thing, I might try to chase them up in general. Yeah that's what I'm going to continue to do.

Appreciate the help.

Chris
