I have successfully burned a Blu Ray disc using the AVC Preset 'Blu-ray HD' and the changing the frame-type to 'Progressive'.
HOWEVER, I would like to increase the bit-rate from the default (for the 'Blu-ray HD' preset -see attached image) of 19,999kbps to something higher, more like 25,000-30,000kbps. Thus far, in all my attempts to raise the bit-rate, the encoding fails/terminates within the first 10 seconds after I initiate the burn. I have tried various permutations of the following combinations (along with the increased bit-rate)and failed every time: Multipass, singlepass, CBR, Target-rate, and increasing the LEVEL to 4 & 5 respectively.
Can someone tell me how to increase the bit-rate on my 720p Blu-ray encoding? My source video has a very high bit-rate so I'd like to increase my output a little from the default.
Additionally, I'd like to point out that not all of the features available on the advanced sections of the encoders are documented so that makes it difficult for an amateur user like myself to solve these kinds of problems witout asking lots of questions online.
Thank you, jeremy
