@Cloudglow

Hi

. . . . Exporting 6 min FullHD video takes about 34GB of disk space, that's quite much for a single music video. . . . .

In which format and encoding, and from which program?

. . . . Also how to install a video codec to MMM? . . . .

Music Maker only supports AVI, MXV - Magix own custom format, and WMV for importing and AVI and WMV for exporting.

I used AVI with Intel IYUV codec because I don't want .wmv format. I'm talking about Music Maker.

Does Magix Movie Studio or Video Pro support .mp4/.mkv files?

@Cloudglow

Hi

. . . . .mp4/.mkv files . . . .

These are container file formats not video formats. A container file can contain video/audio encoded in many formats and combinations.

Video encoded as h.264/AVC and the audio as AAC is the most universal formats for import and export. Other video codecs such as Quicktime are supported however you will need to have Quicktime installed.

See the list of supported container file formats, video and audio codecs for Movie Studio here and VPX here

@Cloudglow You can currently also get the video editing software Vegas Pro 18 Edit for a very low price at https://www.humblebundle.com/software/vegas-pro-2022-software Then you can export your music from Music Maker and edit videos in Vegas. This should work much better.

With the problems I've had with the Music Maker, I don't think I will be buying any Magix products for now. And it seems like I can't use Music Maker either anymore, because they broke MIDI editor now.
