How to differentiate between commercially purchased loop sets?

Film.Maker wrote on 4/27/2019, 4:59 PM

Greets.

I have several "standard" purchased loops sets (albums, etc), however today I also purchased 5 COMMERCIAL loop sets due to a sale on.

Trouble is, I do not see any way of discerning which of our sets are commercially licensed.

Is there a way to tell the difference?

If not, could the kind developers at Magix please add some sort of ICON or a RED BORDER on the listed albums (or perhaps a filter on the COG icon, to display all commercially purchased sets) so we can differentiate easily.

Many thanks.

:)

I think a great idea. I have the same difficulty, and am having to keep my own notes which can get lost. CEC

Hi there,

Unfortunately, at the moment, your best bet really is logging into ProducerPlanet with your MAGIX account and looking up the status of the various soundpools in your list of purchased items there.

I'll make a note of this as a feature request. Maybe something like that can be implemented in Music Maker sometime in the future.

Cheers!

Thank you for forwarding this request to the development team; it would definitely be useful. CEC

3 years onwards... this is still missing. :(

It's a simple $ icon or 'flag' that can easily be implemented.

  • Perhaps we can even have a SORT BY filter to show Commercially-usable $ albums first?
  • Or even "grey out" non-commercial ones via a checkbox [x] filter?

PS. Yes, I am aware we can login to ProducerPlanet for checking, but is this really the best method a multi-million-$ company (who have even bought out all Sony products) can come up with?
