I got a copy of Movie Edit Pro Premium from a family member but when I tried to install it, it is already registered to his email and so I can't use it. Is there a way for us to de-register it from him?
Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.
You need to ask the family member who gave you the copy of MEP, assuming he no longer uses it, to email infoservice@magix.net with full details of his email address and product serial number and request that the current registration of the product be cancelled (only Magix staff can do this). Once this is done, you should be able to then register it to your own email address.
Just to be clear: if the previous owner is still using the product he cannot "give" it to you, unless he is prepared to cease using the product himself.
