Hi,

You can't find the right dialog because it's not included. PhotoStory is not really designed to be a video editing application. And while some video importing and editing capabilities from the video editing software line (that it is derived from) are retained, it's primarily supposed to be a program to turn your still pictures into slide shows. MiniDV cam capture via FireWire is not supported. If that is what you want to do, upgrade to Movie Edit Pro. This would be the much better solution for video editing anyway, even beyond just the DV capture.

I hope this helps.

Hi again,

You could check whether the "play after export" option in the AVI export dialog possibly works with a connected DV camera, but ultimately this program is just not designed for it. However, if you have a video editing software and you really need to have this on DV tape, why don't you just export your finished slide show as DVD quality MPEG-2 file from PhotoStory and then import it into your video software to play it out to the DV cam there? That will get the job done.
