You need to consider making a cancellation button for your products in our "service centers>my products" account... It's easy to upgrade licenses and products, but it takes having to contact you all, worrying if I'd get a response or not, just to cancel my monthly subscriptions. Doesn't look good for your business, makes you look greedy and not for the customers best interest. That's just my opinion.
Welcome to the Magix user to user forums, so not a contact for any Magix staff and it is highly unlikely that any of them will see your post, sorry.
However, I do sympathise with what you are saying; the system for cancellation is not especially easy. However Magix is a German company and it is more than possible that the process by which cancellation is activated is governed by German law.
However, you may wish to email customer service (infoservice@magix.net) and make your suggestion to them.
@Cristofer-Henao@emmrecs German law was actually changed some months ago. It now requires a contract cancellation to be as easy as a contract subscription. If you can subscribe by clicking on a button you must be able to cancel a subscription by clicking on a button.
Magix already modified Music Maker to just cancel a Soundpool subscription inside the program.
We need to wait to see if they will change something else. I would hope so.
Wow, you guys are really pushing it with the difficulty level of cancellations and taking advantage of consumer's lack of knowledge. You make cancellations unfair, complex. Germany has adopted a new Fair Consumer Contracts Act (FCCA), which states clearly: the merchant must provide an easy, straightforward “cancel button” option for terminating a subscription.
So what's the holdup? My card has been charged numerous times for a product we don't use after numerous attempts to cancel by "sending an email".
Get your act together Magix, or you won't be in business for too long.
These are user to user forums, there are no Magix staff here so no-one who visits or posts can do anything to resolve your problem nor even offer any possible solution, other than those given above.
