I have looked for instructions on how to add an .mp4 file to a page but everything I see deals strictly with embeding Youtube videos. How do I insert a non-Youtube .mp4 video that I have saved on my hard drive?
. . . . How do I insert a non-Youtube .mp4 video . . . .
From Windows Explorer drag the video on to the web page, select the option in the pop-up that appears, resize and set position using the controls shown below.
The video will be included in the export or when publishing.
Thanks John but the .mp4 file is not on the internet where it could be dragged from Internet Explorer, it is a file that was saved to my hard drive. I want to get the file from my hard drive into the page in Web Designer 15 Premium.
My apologies John. After all of the items that I read on embedding Youtube videos, I guess my mind automatically thought of Internet Explorer instead of Windows Explorer. I gave your instructions a try and it worked perfectly.
