How to add a second slideshow, so you can burn to same disk

tonyr wrote on 11/6/2017, 10:42 AM

I use Photostory 2016 Deluxe, I am trying to burn two separate slideshows to the same disk. How do add two separate slideshows to the same project? The manual does not explain this very well. I would like to save the number of disk that I use, when the slideshows are short in length. I am using Windows10.

Hi

What you are trying to create is a multi movie/slideshow project - to do this:

  1. Ensure you are in Timeline mode

  2. Create the first slide show

  3. Click the + button indicated by the red arrow in the image below - this will create a second timeline - you may be asked if you want to use the wizard click the appropriate button depending on whether you want to use the wizard or not

  4. Create the second slideshow in the new empty timeline.

You should now have 2 timelines as indicated below by the blue and green arrows

On clicking Burn you will see that you now have a menu with options to play either slide show as shown below

If you also include Chapters in either or both slide shows then appropriate chapter buttons will also appear in the disc menu

Note the images above were created in Photostory Deluxe, 2016 should be the same.

Hi and welcome to the forum

Please start a new topic as we do not know which question you are asking ie the OP or the question from knud-nielsen.

Please read this topic and put the following information in your profile signature so we do not have to ask for it:

  • Computer specification - processor make/model, graphics card or chipset make/model, audio card or chipset make/model, RAM,  hard drive configuration and sizes?
  • Windows version and is it up to date?  Press and hold down the Windows key and the R key - in the dialog that opens type in winver and press enter.
  • Software full name and version number - as found under Help, About . . .

Also when posting please include the following where applicable:

  • Audio and/or video file formats being imported
  • Export format and settings used
  • MediaInfo data on audio or video - see below

If you have issues with importing audio or video please use MediaInfo to analyse a problem clip and post the results from the Tree view in MediaInfo

Also add any other information you think may be relevant.

If you want to post examples of your work with a Magix program  there is a separate section of the forum - click the Media option at the top of the page.
