I have two computers; My home tower with windows 10 and my laptop with windows 10, and i alternate use of my Magix Music Maker 2015 program between them. I was wonderring if anybody know how many times a program can be activated and deactivated in a specific time period, becasue when i went to activate my program on my tower, it told my i had reached the maximum number of activations for this time period.

Hi

. . . . how many times a program can be activated and deactivated in a specific time period . . . .

You can swap computers once per month, then you have to wait one month before swapping computers again.

No limitations on how many times you can do this.

If you need to swap computers more often then you need to buy a second activation slot - contact: sales at magix.com for this.

Is this restriction intended to force a customer to buy a second licence? Seems pretty restrictive to me. Even if the s/w is installed on two (or more) computers, but activated on only one of them, then obviously only ONE person can use the software at any one time. So why not allow a customer to deactivate/activate five times a day if that is what (s)he wants to do? I can't think how this relaxation of the restriction could encourage piracy, so why does Magix insist upon it? (The restriction.)

I believe that the 30-day thing is old and I have not seen it pop up since. You should be able to activate on 2 computers at the same time. If you need a third one, deactivate one of them through your account and then activate on the third computer.
