How Load SoundPool Sounds from Catooh

dave-h96 wrote on 12/24/2016, 5:10 PM

I downloaded a couple of Soundpool free files from Catooh for MusicMaker Premium 2014. They downloaded as Firefox pages, but the properties say the are .ogg files, which is what I guess Music Maker is looking for. I opened the Soundpools window and clicked on the add button and went to the folder on my desktop where they were stored. I double-clicked the folder, but it did not open and nothing downloaded, to the best of my knowledge. How do I get these new sounds into my Soundpools database. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Hi

Do you mean Music Maker 17 or Music Maker Premium (2017).

If you mean Music Maker Premium please use the correct name and quote the version number as found under Help, About . . . to avoid confusion with the older version.

However for loops purchased direct from Catooh, ie for Music Maker 17, it is part of the terms and conditions that download links are available for 14 days and that you are responsible for making backups of the loops for future reinstalling and free replacements are not available.

Hi

. . . . They downloaded as Firefox pages, but the properties say the are .ogg files . . . .

Are the file extensions .ogg?

See the third post down by John CB, in the link I provided, for instructions where to place the files, they should then appear in MMM.
