How is this Effect achieved?

Dear friends,
I found this unique style of video shoot. Can some one tell me is it done during shooting (using a glidcam) or in post? Can someone kindly guide me?

Hi Anirban

Watch this video on how to set up a steady cam

at the end you should then see how the shot was done and why it is smooth between movements.

I cannot recommend Steady cams which do not use gimbals, ie those with a floating ball joint, to provide movement.

They suffer from an issue with gyroscoping - depending on how fast you turn the through an arc, ie rotate your body to do a large pan, the camera tries to maintaing its position and will rotate out of the horizontal.

The movement effects and some of the visual effects - not effectively - it is camera movements at time of shooting.

There are a few visual effects such as soft focus which can be done post shoot.
