Greasalizer seems to be Music Maker 16 which does support VST plug ins. Essentially you put plug ins in a specific folder, tell Music Maker to scan that folder and then drag the synth you want to a track. It's an old program so I don't know what this looks like within the program. I guess vst effects work in a similar way. However as this is an old program only older 32 bit vst plug ins will work. No modern 64 bit plug ins.

I can't explain beyond those basics as I'm not familiar with this old version of Music Maker and where you set the folder with plugins. However looking in the manual it says synth plugins are shown in the synthesizer folder and you set the path for the folder using an option in that folder. (page 152)
