@PsychotropicFilms

I'm not sure if you are aware but Spectralayers is now a Steinberg product. Perhaps that question would be better posted to the appropriate Steinberg forum.

Understand. But with the Soundforge Pro 14 promotion, Magix stated the Spectralayers 6 was bundled and upgradeable to version 7. I probably should to ask Magix's customer service.

Hi,

I only see that SpectraLayers was bundled with Suite. Did you get the Suite?

For SpectraLayers 7, you should receive an email, so watch your spam box. It was supposed to have been released mid-July, but Samplitude users have indicated that they are still waiting for it.

I bought SF Pro Suite and have not received an email for the code to upgrade to SpectraLayers 7. Any Ideas?

@fccfirstclass

If you read the post from @browj2 directly above yours it would seem you are not alone! It would appear that the planned release date has not been met, possibly?

Hi Jeff. Yes, I see other users are waiting to get the upgrade as well. SpectraLayers 7 was released over the weekend by Steinberg. Usually I could wait, but 7 has a feature that I need now for a project I am doing for my family. This involves cassettes that I recorded 45 years ago for my uncle. He has passed and I am doing this for his daughters as well as my library.

Thanks,

Clint

I received an answer from Magix today. Here it is:

Dear Mr. Santello,
Unfortunately the serial numbers have not yet been sent. This will probably happen within the next one or two weeks. We hope for your understanding.

Just a note from one user on the Samplitude forum - he heard that there are problems with 7, so you may want to try it out when you get it, but not on anything critical.
