How do you make a connection via USB?

I have a Magix Music Maker Premium program. I cannot interface the program with my Behringer 1204USB Mixer. Anyone have a clue as to how the USB connection is made?

Windows 8

HP Laptop

Occurs at startup

Magix Music Maker Premium.

I am using an 8 Channel Behringer 1204 USN Mixer and one microphone connected to channel one. I can hear through the headphones on the mixer but the Magix program does not receive the signal.

Hi,

Take a look at this tutorial. I showed how I connected my USB interface (I think) and adjusted the settings.

Let us know if you still can't get it to work afterwards and what you're settings are.
