This method is for MMM 16 and MMM 16 Premium both.

Thank you for asking nice question, I wonder why I did not use it myself. Anyway, Open Magix Music Maker, it should not be in Easy mode otherwise you can not see,

Soundpool/File Manager, Synthesizer/Template/Inspector.

Easy Mode button is on top left under MAGIX, if right side is blue then ok, you will be able to see all these

Soundpool/File Manager, Synthesizer/Template/Inspector, now you have to choose audio track better be in wave and stereo that will give best Karaoke effect.

Import your audio on arranger using File Manager, browse and drag and drop on arranger.

Now click on Templates next to Synthesizer you will be able to see many templates(on left side Audio FX should be Highlight)that means you are in right templates. These templates are in alphabetical order I guess, locate "Karaoke" then drag and drop on audio track. Play and listen, if you want you can add once more same Karaoke template.

From here you are boss do whatever you could to make your Karaoke better and please when you are done also let me know.
