How do I stop automatic advertisement deletion?

Pro automatically commences removing advertisements from my videos.  Unfortunately, it does not appear to be perfect, and it frequently removes large chunks of the movie as well - then leaves in large runs of advertisements.  I'd prefer to do it myself.  How do I stop Pro taking charge?

Hi

That is an odd behaviour!  AFAIK no there is no permanent setting for this to happen on every project.  Check the settings when you right click a movie clip and select Find and Remove ads.

With MEP closed use Windows Explorer to search your c: drive for videodeluxe.ini - it may be a hidden file so you will need to set the search to include hidden files and folders.

You may find several files returned in various locations - the one you want will be the largest in size ie 12 - 20+ kb

Delete the file.  Note you will lose any custom settings you made.

Start MEP and try the project again.
