Hello how do I record a video using Magix Music Maker 2015? I have a webcam? I dont see any options to record a video within the program? It states on the website on Magix Music Maker: simply activate the camera on your pc,record a video. It also states on the help manual:

In addition to audio recording, MAGIX Music Maker 2015 provides a recording function for video from analog video sources for your own video clips.

Hi,

In the top menu, File, Import, Video recording, or press "G".

Time to read the manual - see page 207 and onwards,

Hi

I would suspect you have the Basic version of Music Maker which, IIRC, does not include the ability to record video.

Hi,

I would have to agree with John EB that you probably have the basic version, as the Premium Manual indicates on page 19 that the following is an additional feature in the Premium version:

"Video recording
In addition to audio recording, MAGIX Music Maker 2015 Premium provides a recording
function for video from analog video sources for your own video clips."

However, on the Magix site, under the basic version of MMM, All Features, it states the following:

"Produce music videos

Directly import music videos into the software, load images or simply activate the camera on your PC, record a video and add your own songs."

It does not mention analog sources, but I presume that there must be some way to record from the camera on the PC. I suggest that you look in the Index at the end of the manual under Video, if it's there, and look at the references.

Can you confirm that you do not have the Premium version? See under the top menu, Help, About. If it does not say Music Maker 2015 PREMIUM, then you have the basic version.
