How do I put a music file onto my mp3 player from MM?

I am using MM 2014. I have done some research, from what i can tell all of the answers seem to imply that this is simple:

File, Export, Audio as mp3. and it will save as an mp3 and I can put it on WMP and on an MP3 player.

This does not work for me. When I do this the track automatically plays in windows but I cannot manually play the file myself. It tells me the file has mmm exstensions when I try. For some reason it saves as a windows media player file and I can not drag it onto WMP or anything else. (Please dont ask me if Im accidentally saving it as a WMP file because I asure you im not.)

Hi,

You save a project; you export to create an MP3 file. File, Export, select the format.

A project is an MMM file. You cannot use this in anything but Music Maker.

I suggest that you read the manual.

browj2 has already given you answer but I would like to give you some further details.

In Music Maker we can save our work as music maker project file with extension "mmm". This format is only for Music Maker.

Do not use Save arrangement (Ctrl+S) or Save arrangement as (Shift +S).

You are making mistake in saving your file therefore could not use in any other application. Please click on File then click on Export and choose the format such as Mp3 and save the audio file some where you can find easily. Refer screen shot (older version could give you some hints)
