How do I get more transitions and effects for magix MX plus, can I use 17HD's effects or not

I have not got alot of effects or transitons and was wondering how to get more, 17HD had so many why does MX plus have so little?

Have you followed the main menu 'Help' >> 'Free download...'?

You should also be able to use your older effects but exactly where they are stored sometime changes between versions (and Windows OS versions!). Usually there is a folder of the correct name created when you install a new Magix program. See if you can find the corresponding folders of your two program versions and copy across. You'll almost certainly have to restart 17HD for it to pick up the changes.

Hi Carl, thank you so much for advice, did try copying and pasting all of magix 17 things into MX pluse only to find that MX has a little more files than 17. could not find any folder relating to effects so I copyed everything except the stuff that looked the same.
