Hi

We need more information - what is your Windows version and is it 32 or 64 bit?

What are you doing that requires Administrator privileges?

I'm using Windows 8.1, 64 bit. I'm trying to export videos in mp4 format, but I need the mp4 codec to do so. Every time I try to activate the codec, it tells me that it has failed and I should try again with administrator rights.

Hi

You need to enable the hidden administrator account and create a new account for yourself with Administrator rights.

OK, I did the admin access thing and now I can see and use control panel again, which is cool, but I still can't activate the mpeg-4 codec. I'm using 8.1 and Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014.  I closed the program and started again, but it still doesn't work.
