How do I create a high resolution video to play on an iPad?

I am using AVCHD source material amd want to create the most detailed video an iPad can display.
What setting do I use in the Export Video dialogue?

It really depends on what kind of video formats/files, etc the iPad can handle. I would suggest you use "Export as Quicktime Movie" because it;s guarenteed to be playable on an iPad.
