how do i burn my tracks onto a cd??

i have magix music maker 16 and every time ive tried to burn my tracks onto a cd, my cd player has been unable to read the disc. ive even tried putting them to mp3 format. am i doing this wrong??

Have you tried exporting them to *.wav files and burning those onto a CD?

yes, i have also tried exporting them as a mp3 then burning them. im not sure why its not working. maybe i need to buy different cd's??

In that case it could be your CD player is the problem. Some just don't play CD-Rs . I have burned one for my father-in-law, and his CD player would not play it - mine did ...
