how can I use my instrument on magix?

I plugged an electric piano to magix and it shows in settings and also shows the notes played when I record but no sound come out and I dont know why, my keyboard is a Nocturn 49 with automap, and it has worked on other music developing softwares

That is good - it means the keyboard is being recognised. Look at these pictures to see how to record playing the keyboard

1 - Setting up the synthesizer

2 - Recording and playing - note in your case at step 6 play the Nocturn not the on screen keyboard

When I first hooked up my keyboard I found that showing the on-screen keyboard made the sound work from my actual real keyboard.

But the previous answers are probably the best way to go..
