One more thing... if I buy the MAGIX Soundpool DVD Collection 20... would it allow me to sell the music I made with it?  I just needed to know before I spend $200 on the product.

You are going to have to make your own interpretation of the license or contact a copywrite lawyer. You can also contact Magix support and ask them.

If you are planning to use the loops in the context of your own work, for example you are adding a vocal track and lead instrument backed up by the loops, then you have created something more than just using the loops. This makes it much more palatable. Remember, Magix is in the business of selling the loops, so you cannot just make them available and sell them to others. You have to create something different. You can let others hear them, but they must not be able to download them in raw form. This is the way that I understand the license and I say this to be on the safe side. You should still validate this with Magix. Tell them what you intend to do exactly so as to get a clear answer.

The best advice I can give you is to:

1. Contact Magix directly and ask the question after going through their FAQ for similar answers;
2. Before purchasing any professional license, make something that you think that you can sell and then obtain the appropriate license. You may find that nothing in a particular Soundpool collection gets used, so you would have wasted your money. You may even find that you only need the professional licenses for one or two loops, which may be purchased for a lot less than the entire package.

So I'm guessing I cannot sell the music I plan to make with Magix... even if I plan to buy the soundpool.

Also, I'm nervous to contact the staff of Magix.
