How can I get Audio Cleaning Lab 16 Deluxe save a Playlist (M3u,*.cue) file type?

My copy of Cleaning Lab 16 Deluxe does not save a file (M3u,*.cue).

When I save my LPs or cds the songs are saved in alpha order. I would like to have (M3u,*.cue) file so that the songs are saved in order of the original source, lp or cd.

The Playlist (M3u,*.cue) makes it easy to record lps of cds in order of the original product. Cleaning Lab 10 saved this file automatically.

How can I get CL 16 Deluxe to save this file automatically when I save my music to an external hard drive?

Using windows xp, which should not be a problem. CL16 Deluxe is an older version that came out a long time ago.

CL16 has never heard of a M3u,*.cue file and neather have I.  You basically answered your own question, you need newer program.....but before you buy, make sure it will supports the files you intend to use.  Good luck

Hi

You don't save a M3u or CUE file - you export it.

Look up CD track list/ID3 editor and Export in the PDF manual installed with the software.

Well, ACL 14 does output a cue file if a multi-track project is exported as a single (wave) file. ACL 15 doesn't. I guess from the question that ACL 16 doesn't either. However, ACL 17 does - I found another post with someone asking what a cue file was for!

Anyhow, what ACL 15 DOES do:

for a single file output: it embeds the cue information within the wave file itself. Some wave editors ignore it, but the one I use understands it - Ocenaudio.

for a one track per file output: it does number the filenames and create a playlist file provided you've created a CD track list (in CD/DVD... CD Track List...) first

I hope ACL16 does too

@Mariner891

You have resurrected a thread which is over three years old and which originally referred to an old version of a different program!

Please do not do this. If you wish to ask a specific question about ACL 14 or 15 (or later), please start a new thread. In the meantime I will lock this thread to prevent any further posts.
