How can I delete date time stamp from video?

I have video that is date time stamped incorrectly (2027 to be exact).  I can burn the correct date time stamp onto the video but the original incorrect date time stamp is still showing.  How can I delete this?  If I can't delete it, can I cover it up somehow?  I am using Magix Movie Edit Pro MX Plus.

Hi

Are you referring to:-

1.  the video file date/time stamp as viewed in Windows Explorer?

or

2.  a date/time stamp recorded onto the video by the camera? 

or

You could try cropping the video if the action is towards the centre.   Use Effects, Movement Effects, Section to do the cropping - you can drag the crop window with the mouse and make sure you have 'Fill Screen' checked.
