My video camera yields 1920x1080, 60 fps MPEG-4 video files. When I reformat them to AVCHD DVDs, the playback on Blu-Ray players (I tried three different brands: Sony, Insignia, and Toshiba) has about a 3-5 Hz halting or jitter. I've tried using 60 fps and 30 fps for the AVCHD...same result. The raw MPEG-4 videos play back smoothly and beautifully from an SD card, either through the Blu-Ray player's USB, directly through my TV's USB port, or on my computer.
How can I avoid a jittery AVCHD playback from an MPEG-4 rendered to an AVCHD DVD?
