Hi, I need help in aligning lets say the video clip in track 1 with the audio clip on track 2. I would like to aling both so they can start at the same time, currectly im movie the tracks with the mouse but it takes me a long time and sometime it doesnt align, is there an easier way to do this?

The easiest method requires pre-planning. You record a distinct sound and movement at the start -- in the movies they use a 'clapperboard'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clapperboard
If this has not been done then best you can probably do is find a sharp sound and corresponding video movement, not necessarily at the very beginning, and zoom in to that area. If you are displaying the audio channel wave form (a right click option on the track) it can help to find the sound. When you're close zoom in to single frames and do your final adjustment. Even if you can not preview at regular play speed you should be able to line up the video frame (say a glass making a 'clunk' when it hits the table) with the matching bump in the audio wave form.

2. Multi camera editting ? ie the same scene shot with two or more cameras - Carls answer refers to this.
3. Is the video sound out of sync with the video?
4. Are you trying to synchronise movement in the video to a seperate audio track eg music or commentary?

Im usin the newer version of MovieEdit Pro 2013, sorry for not providing enough info, but all im trying to do is, like for example I recorded a wedding and parts of the wedding i will be removing the audio track from the clip and will be inserting an mp3 audio instead, but the problem im having is to align the clip with the audio. Lets say the video clip is on track one and the mp3 in track 2, i need to move the track 2 so it can start at the same time the video clip starts, its taking me a while to align them so they can start at the same time. Also im having dificulties when I cut a clip and put another clip next to it how can i move it easly and stitch it to the end of the 1st clip (this is on the same track) sometimes i over the clips and i dont want to do this. Is there a short cut keyboard keys that i can do to easy stitch the 2 clips together without overlaping each other?

The easiest way to do this is to place the timeline cursor at the point on the timeline where you want the music to start - in this case at the beginning of the video clip - then drag the music clip towards the timeline cursor so that its start is lined up with the timeline cursor - you will find that once you are very close to the timeline cursor the audio clip will 'snap' to it. Some times it helps to zoom in on the timeline as well.

There is a quick way of doing this.
When you add the 2nd clip leave a small gap between it and the end of the first one.
With the second clip selected, click on the small icon bottom left of the clip - it is orange/black/cyan in colour - from the pop up menu select Cut (no fade).
The two clips are now butted up against each other.

Adding a bit to John's suggestion. There may be situations where the start of the clip and the start of the audio object are not the best points to align.
Here the lead in has to accounted for but more subtle situations will arise. I'm no wedding photographer but I think I can make up an example scene:
You've a shot at the reception and there is general background chatter which you want to replace with a favorite song of the couple. Watch the video carefully 'near' where you want to introduce the music and see if you can pick a hand gesture, a head turn, or a smile as a key visual moment. Then listening to your mp3 track pick the point where say the melody starts, not necessarily the first few intro bars and match this audio key moment to the visual one. Once aligned you might need to slightly fade in the mp3 and match that with a fade out of the original background audio.
Our minds can do wonders! As you are not trying to lip sync just watch and listen to what feels right even if the clips don't match sstarting points.
