@fiore-p, sadly this is a know issue with AP. There are "work arounds" but did we buy this software to learn "work arounds" for software that is flawed. May I suggest, if you have time, get a refund and wait for Magix to fix this DAW. There is (supposedly) a 'update fix' in the works to fix the many issues that plague AP. Then watch this forum to see if the 'update fix' works. Maybe then reconsider purchasing AP.

If you want to work with work arounds, they'll be someone along shortly to tell you what work around you'll need. There are folks here who specialize in that sort of thing.

Kind regards

This has been a problem for years and clearly Magix is incapable of fixing it. I would recommend getting a refund as soon as you can if you still are within the refund window.

@fiore-p This is a bug with the VST loading. The settings will stay if you drag and drop the VST from the browser tab into the FX chain window.

Another good idea is to install the free Waves Studio Rack VST. Only load this VST into your track. Load all other VSTs inside Studio Rack. This will circumvent the buggy ACID VST implementation and should make ACID run a lot more stable. Very recommended until the bugs are fixed.
