There isn't a midi import line in the file menu. I can only drag a midi file into the track. However my real problem is I can't separate the tracks when I want to edit an exisyting midi file. It only lets me drack onto one track Please help.
Dragging & dropping from the file browser is the right way to go. The "Load arrangement" command in the "File" menu is just for complete Music Maker projects, not for MIDI files. The fact that each MIDI file will remain one single Music Maker arrangement track is a limitation of the software. No way around that, I'm afraid. You might want to look into Music Studio. That would actually offer you the option to split up the MIDI channels into project tracks on import:
Look i don't know whether u know about it or not,but let me tell u that u can use accoustica mixcraft 4 .I know it does'nt sound like MMM,but only the sound quality doesn't matter,it depends up ur capacity,ur knowledge of creating nice music.......best of luck!
