Getting rid of hollowness

So I did this track on MMM, and for some reason, it sounds very hollow and empty and I tried the auto cleaning feature in Ozone 8 and it just seemed to make it worse. Here is the track. https://soundcloud.com/user-735616355/may232019a/s-MPDJJ if I could get some feedback as to how to get it to sound less hollow and empty and warmer that would be great. Thanks.

That depends on ones taste in music styles.

I like a wide range of music styles, however for 'synthesised' music I prefer the sound of Emmerson Lake and Palmer, Kraftwerk etc.

For me, the track is too 'synthesized' and too high an octave and is missing more mellow/warmer instruments eg bass line, full drum kit, and more natural sounding instruments.

Thanks, John, that is all really sound information and advice, I just want to clarify what I meant by hollow, and perhaps you can expand on your comment. So what I meant by hollow is the entire track sounds like it was recorded in a tin can and I am not sure why or how to fix it.

You wouldn't happen to have a reverb effect somewhere on the track or object? Or in the Mixer with an FX track switched on?

I'm not 100% sure but I will go through it and double check. I know I didn't purposely add any reverb.

My first post here and I agree with browj2 general comments.

One thing that struck me is that most of the track appeared centred - you might want to look into stereo separation during mixing.

If you used the Mixer, look at the FX strip. If you turned on any of the FX Sends, the first FX strip automatically has Reverb turned on.

If not, then check on the track in the Mixer for the FX, if on. If not, check the object by selecting it and checking under the Inspector tab in the bottom window.

If so what did you do to solve that hallow sound, from a learning aspect.

So I did fix it, not sure if I did it the "right way" or not but I widened the stereo sound and it seemed to fix it.
