Getting purchased items from store into Magix Musicmaker

Hi all, this is probably easy but I am confused! Magix MusicMaker Premium. Win 10.
How do I get purchased soundpools or Vst instruments from store into Magix Music Maker. When I first installed the product all freebies turned up in the Download section. My purchased items however are just sitting in the store under my account and if I download them from the store where do they go? Into a folder on my hard drive or directly into Magix? I’m totally new to DAW so some help would really be appreciated.

@Mikey64

Hi,

When you were installing Music Maker, presumably 2022, there was a screen with a selection for where you wanted to put files. It opens a screen with various choices, one being for Soundpools. If you didn't change anything, then you can find the location of where Soundpools go by opening the Program Settings, Folders tab and you'll see the path:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools

Soundpools purchased through the Store will be under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools\Shop

Anything purchased before Music Maker had an in-app Store was under the first path. Anything that you purchase through Producer Planet should also go under the root or Soundpools folder.

Thus, yes, whatever Soundpools you get through Music Maker will be on your hard drive under the first path above, ex. "Music Maker Feel Good," or under the ....Shop.

G'Day browj2, you are correct!! But somehow downloads from the Magix Shop are going directly to my Downloads File. I'll just move the files to where they should be and extract them there under their own folder. I assume then that Magix Music Maker Premium 2022 will pick up these new Soundpools automatically. Thank you for your help. Kind Regards Mikey64

Hi Again, I got it a bit screwed up. It is pre recorded tracks that I am trying to get into Magix Music Maker 2022.
I have purchased albums with 8 or 10 tracks on them from the Magix store (OGG) that I want to use the AKAI Mini Play or my EWI USB inside the Music Maker DAW. Should they be under a different folder? or is there another way of loading them into Magix Music Maker 2022. (Win 10) Regards Mikey64

@Mikey64 You can just drag and drop audio files from the internal file manager or Windows Explorer into your project.
