Hi

. . . . .had program for a while and it worked fine, help please. . . .

Was this until you upgraded to Windows 10 ?

If so then re-install MEP using this procedure.

If you did not upgrade to Windows 10 then we need more information - see this post

Hi John,

Thank you so much for helping me, really appreciate it. Yes, accidentially upgraded to Windows 10 but within 2 days deinstalled it and I am now back to my trusted windows 7. I did notice today while I was trying helplessly to get the issue sorted that both Windows 10 and Windows 7 are registered against my MEP.

If I do deinstall and reinstall MEP I dont want to loss all my MEP 2015 Projects or have a new problem trying to configure all this back in sync. Can you help me with givign me some "peace of mind" first.

By default he projects are kept in a seperate folder within your Documents folder - unless you changed the location - so will not be touched by uninstalling and re-installing.

However your question would suggest that you do not make any backups of your projects.  If you don't, I would highly recommend you do.

Hi John Baker,

You are awesome and helpful, thank you once again. I logged on today and it works, I can acess MEP 2015 fine. I havent done anythign yet either.

I wonder if Magix Tech team did something because I logged a ticket with them. I havent had an email to say they have fixed it or clsoed the ticket out yet and actually dont know if there is a portal you can acess to check current status of tickets (I havent found one to date)

Thanks for confirming the folders dont move, disappear or anything odd happens when I deinstall. Yes I have been meaning to get a back up so I will go down to the tech store today and get a multi GB external hard drive, tahnks again John.

Regards Brad
