Hi,

I cant seem to get my editted GOPRO non-HD video clips to end at the right spot.  The editting is no prob but the final video will play past the spot where it should end and play a black screen (possibly to the end of the original clip - I havent timed it).  I have read lots and tried all types of things but none have worked.  What am I missing to set the end point where it stops playing?  THanks. Cam.

Hi,

To further complicate things,  when I place a fade out at the end of a clip, the exported video has the fade out in a spot not the same as before the export.  I had similar with a music track that, after export, played past the end of the video.  What am I missing. Thanks. Cam.

Hi

Zoom out on the timeline and check there are no stray clips after the black space.

Check that you do not have a range (the blue bar above the timeline if visible) extending beyond your last clip selected.

You can delete any blank timeline after the last clip by selecting a range from the end of the last clip to the end of the timeline and then use Edit, Edit Range,Delete.
