Gallery widget not working

Hi there. I'm using Windows 10 and Xara Web Designer Premium v. 19. The Gallery widget on my website seems to have stopped working. I've uploaded my photos and they appear inside the widget, perfectly fine. But when I save and go back to the page, the screen is blank. (screenshots below). I've tried deleting and re-uploading, I've tried different photos, all the same result. This widget is working perfectly fine on my other websites, so I don't see how it can be a server issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hey John. If you mean the large, blank white rectangle that appears in the place where the gallery should be on the web page, then yes (as you can see in the first screenshot). I'm not sure what else you're referring to.

Hi,

Did you first put this into the design of the website in an older version? If so, you can try adding the same widget to the program then deleting it (the new one). Somehow, doing this refreshes the widget because of a design change or something by Xara. This was discussed on the Talk Graphics forum and fixed the same problem for me. My photo gallery was still there but would not show up; now it does.

Yes, it was in v.18 and I recently upgraded to v. 19. I eventually gave up using the widget entirely, and simply arranged all my pictures on a blank webpage. Seems to work well enough. Thanks for the suggestions.

On my Galleries flyout bar, the galleries that show "On" (a check mark) don't appear on the flyout bar, those that are unchecked do, the opposite of what should be. And, I can't turn the "Design gallery" "Off" so it turns on. So I can't access "Content catalog." I'd like to access that. How can I get back control of Galleries? This has been so through several upgrades.

Sorry, in my query about galleries I meant checkmarks appearing or not appearing on the pop-out galleries submenu not matching what shows in the gallery flyout bar to the right. And I can't turn on/off the Design gallery checkmark on that submenu.

Are the galleries as shown in the image below - red arrow, if so they have not been pinned - yellow arrow - to be permanently visible after clicking on them.

In the Gallery submenu all galleries are checked but two. Yet those are the only two that show up where your red arrow is, the opposite of what should happen. In other words, only the unchecked items show up where your red arrow is. And, the Design gallery won't uncheck when I select it, so it never shows up at the red arrow as an option. Then, when I select Content Catalog it tells me I have to turn the design gallery on. The Design gallery is checked "on" but since everything's reversed that actually registers as "Off" so I can't turn the Content Catalog on.

I've had this problem for years, and lived with it. Upgrading from 18 to 19 seemed a complete re-install, but didn't solve this, I was disappointed. So I finally write.

Has this always been on the same computer?

Try resetting the program Control Bars, Window, Control bars, Reset

Note this will undo any customisation of the toolbars you have made.
