You will see I have hidden your post because you have posted to a thread titled "Frequently Asked Questions" for the Acid Product Family, with a specific question about Acid Music Studio 11. IOW, nothing to do with FAQs!

Please start a new thread with your question, including giving full details of your computer, as in this post.

Stem Maker appears in the toolbar when Acid Pro 10 is opened, then disappears? Any solution to that? Thank you.

@Jay76wd2 Stem Maker was removed. There was a rumour that there were licensing issues between Magix and Zynaptiq.

It is recommend to use a free tool called Spleeter to create stems. It creates far superior results compared to Stem Maker.

I love keeping my favorite programs in my windows toolbar for shortcuts. However, in my windows 10 toolbar, when opening Acid pro suite 10 and pinning it to the bottom, it instead pins pro tools. I love pro tools and all, but windows should differentiate. How can this be fixed?

If you have an Acid Pro 10 shortcut on your desktop or pinned to the Start pane - drag that to the taskbar - do not open the program first.

ACID 11 Individual track effects will not open and allow access to FX. The chooser works but you can't access the file!

Hi, I have been unable to play my VSTI. I just upgraded to AP11 to solve that problem but the program still only work with DLS synth and doesn't play my UVI workstation. It seems that the link from the AP midi to the UVI doesn't work althougt I can ear the UVI when klicking it's keyboard. I use an RME asio interface on w11 and Acer gamer PC.

Yes... Midi channel is 1. My controler is well recognized in the midi track and the DLS Plays and there is sound when I push notes. But when I change the midi out to UVI synth, notes are played in the midi track but nothing sorts out from the UVI (except if I click on the UVI Keybord itself). In Samplitude it works fine but not in AP11...

@pete-c any Midi keyboard should work in W11. But I've never seen one auto-map using USB Midi. If your audio interface has a midi input (not usb midi) then no mapping should be required. If you use USB Midi...you'll have some work to do. Cheers

If there is a previous post on this issue, please share. There was one posting regarding Error 12037 from Valerie.Farmer. It may apply to my setup as well.

I have older Sony software registered with MAGIX (Acid Music Studio 8.0, Sound Forge Audio, Vegas Movie Studio) These were installed on a Win XP machine that is about to be retired.

Can I use the install DVD from the box, or the web installer download?

When ACID Music Studio 8.0 is installed on a Win10 machine and launched (as admin) I am asked to register first. When I do, I get this error: An error occurred during registration of ACID Music Studio 8.0. Unable to connect to the Registration Server. Error 12037: the date in the certificate is invalid or expired. Please verify your computer's date is set correctly and click Retry."

If I can recover the "Authentication Code" from the Win XP machine, could I use that to install?

@Michael-Kirk Sony shut down the old registration servers, so old installers from the disc will likely no longer work. Try to visit Magix.com, login with your old Sony login credentials (e-mail and password) and download the Acid 8 installers from your customer account. I believe these installers are updated and are connecting to Magix servers instead Sony servers.
