freezing/clipping/glitching

My MMM 15 keeps freezing. Once the project starts to skip/glitch/clip it freezes i can press the stop button but it will continue to play until it unfreezes then stops at least 5 min laters or after it loops 20+ times. then afterwards its reaction time is slowed and i have to close the program and restart it ( after waiting 15 mins for it to finally respond and close) what is up with this i paid to have a functioning software but all it does is crash or give tech problems. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled twice now but the same problems keep occuring. Can somebody give me a real answer to these issues?

The Current project im working on is 15 tracks, 6 tracks being audio recordings, 3 are midi recordings the rest are my own instrument/sound effect samples and it goes for 144.5 bars.

Im running an Asus X55C

Windows 8

500GB HDD

4GB Memory

Having checked the specs on the X55C I would suspect that, for the number of tracks you have, the realtime processing cannot keep up because of an overloaded CPU.

The easiest way to be sure is to open Task Manager and select the performance tab and watch the CPU load as you play the project in MMM.
