Have you started part 2 yet?

Please include the usefulness and danger of the movable central anchor point. Useful because you can place the anchor point anywhere within or outside of the manipulated image but also useful if you want to create an orbital rotation around another object or selected area of the background. Because I am a person that prefers to use my mouse more than keyboard shortcuts, I have in the past grabbed the object selected in the center of the object and moved that anchor point without realising it. Thinking I had just failed to grab the object I have then gone back and grabbed the object again, successfully moving it but not realising I had changed the anchor point.

I have found the size position rotation effect to be very useful for when I want to zoom into and also stabilize an otherwise wandering subject to a given position within a frame.

You can quickly get the anchor point back to the centre using the centre button.

I forgot to mention, if you're looking for simplicity, you can always use Storyboard mode and stick to the basics.

Hi John.

Yes, but only if you notice you have moved it. If it only moves a slight amount it can (and in my case, once did) cause later havoc as my main use for this is for zoomed in stabilisation of a tracked subject.

The other problem is if you open a project started in the earlier versions where Size Position Rotation were combined, and where the current fixes were not applied, the tracking etc can be out when opened in a newer version.

While I'm all in favour of fixing problems it makes going back to an older project that uses effects that have been updated a bit redundant without a lot of extra work putting things back to as they were.

Is it my imagination or has Section also been fixed?

Why not go back further to when the titles moved against their backgrounds in the black and white movies? 😄No, maybe not as the fonts were hand drawn before Letraset and customised to each film unless it was a newsreel.

No, I didn't dabble with those, MEP man thru and thru!

I always remember Richard Motzer (Rffmars) on the old forum: "Straight cuts and fades only. You don't see fancy nancy effects in Hollywood movies!".

Went to a funeral today; the slide show drove me nuts! 😆
