Hi Michael

Make any adjustments you need to the clip(s) eg trim adjust colour etc, then right click the selected object.

From the pop up menu select Save objects as takes or you can use the keyboard shortcut - mine is Shift + K .

This will save the selected object in the Takes folder - you will find that on the left of the Import tab there is a link to the Takes folder.

I don't get that menu at al,l when I write click the object at top of the menu is the trimmer nothing for save to takes anywhere in the pop up menu.

When you select a video object and right click you should get this menu

 

Still images cannot be saved as Takes they have to be saved as images using this option
