Files and Changing BPM

PleaseLetMe1n. wrote on 5/22/2021, 10:05 PM

I use a lot of files for my music. Recently, random files change the BPM whenever I drag them into the music-making section. I think this happened after I did something with the Remix Agent. How do I stop the files from changing my project? 😶

@PleaseLetMe1n.

Hi

If the file tempo does not match the project tempo then it will be automatically adjusted to match the project.

You can turn off this function in the program settings if desired.

But in this case the project tempo is being changed by the file. I have been using this program for 20 years and have never seen this. Also have not seen this many glitches with the program.

@LES-DA

Hi and welcome to the forum.

. . . . in this case the project tempo is being changed by the file . . . .

Is this a Soundpool file, if so which one or does this happen with all Soundpool loops?

If an 'external' file does the Tempo recognition wizard open, is used to detect the tempo and applied?

@Pam-Murray Has your problem something to do with tempo or BPM of a project? I don't understand your question in this context.

I already wrote something in your topic here https://www.magix.info/us/forum/how-do-i-download-upload-a-song-from-my-playlist-to-music-maker--1304113/ but you never answered.

@Pam-Murray

As @SP. has pointed out, you have already created one thread with a question and which has received a reply. Please continue in that thread rather than posting to another user’s thread which is about a different problem.

Because your post here is really irrelevant to this current thread it has been hidden.
