FEATURES OF $69 VERSION

I used garageband for a long time. Have free MM version. If I buy the $69 version I want to make sure I can pan and adjust volume on each individual track. Otherwise I won't spend the money. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and old school so I don't have much use for soundpools. I would like VST package with good string pads. Comments?

@KENT-BAYS I think you can just edit the volume and pan in the free edition.

Since you want to make your own music instead of using Soundpools I would recommend you try the free demo version of Samplitude Music Studio. The full version comes with dozens of virtual instruments. You can read a list of all Instruments on the features page at https://www.magix.com/int/music/samplitude/samplitude-music-studio/version-comparison/#c1426209 You can listen to demos of the instruments in the Music Maker in-app-shop.

The software has a lot more features than Music Maker.
