fade effect to multiple photos

I have movie edit pro 16

I have some video tracks and a lot of photos. I want to apply the same effect (fade through black) to all the photos. There are too many to do this one by one.

How do I apply the same effect to multiple pics? Selecting all the photos and then trying to apply the effect only results in one photo being changed.

Lourens,

A click on the little [A|B] icon shown on any selected object that has the desired effect will bring up a menu including 'Apply to all objects in the track', or just the following objects.

Thanks for the reply.

This solutions only works in Storyboard mode. Such a change is global. I want to select a track in timeline mode and apply the effect only to that track. But the apply to all option is greyed over in timeline and scene overview mode.

Any ideas?
